About Pegasus Militaria
Pegasus Millitaria was established over 15 years ago by Stephen Kiddle. Stephen joined the BRA (or LHA as it is now known) at a time where original items were scarce and copies were of bad quality. This inspired Stephen to make his own reproductions which he was pretty soon supplying to other members of the BRA. Word spread and not long after he was supplying to collectors and re-enactors all of the world. The demand for these items grew and in 1999 Stephen packed in the day job and took this hobby up as a full time career.
Pegasus Militaria now supplies to the IWM Duxford, the National Army Museum & RAF Hendon and have provided items for TV and Film productions as “The trench†“Day of atonement†and Steven Spielberg’s’ “Red Tailsâ€.
As all Pegasus Militaria products are made in-house by a very small team of British Craftsmen, not all items will be in stock at any one time. We endeavour to replenish stock as soon as is possible but refuse to compromise on materials and quality for the sake of a quicker turn over. A waiting list will be kept when product is out of stock and you will be contacted as soon as it is available again.
Pegasus aim for 100% authenticity with all of our products. For example, on a Wind Proof Smock the hood section is left raw edged rather than using the modern over locking technique.
These are conscious decisions to maintain accuracy.
